About Me

My name is Miss Roslyn Mzungu. Am a Kenyan lady aged 22 years old. Am the third born in a family of five. Born and raised in a remote village in the coastal region of Kenya. Am single and independent working as a successful business woman in Mtwapa town. My education background; I hold a Kenya certificate of secondary education, having completed my secondary school at Mtwapa secondary school here in Mtwapa.Am from a poor family background where i had to engage on business at an early age in order to complete my studies. I sat for my form four exam in 2011.I started with a green grocer and later transformed it to Mobile phone accessories. Its a good business because i now can take care of my siblings without any problems. I get an average monthly revenue of ksh 15,000 after all expenses With the income i get i help my last born brother who is now in form 2 at Mtwapa secondary school. And also buy food for my family. I use ksh 2,000 for my brother's school fees, ksh 5,000 for food for the family and save ksh 8,000 per month. I will use this to pay my loan.

My Business

I started with a green grocer, that was when i was still in school. After school because i had enough time i transformed it and started a mobile phone accessories shop.Mtwapa is a fast growing town with many ethnic group communities.Because of that we have new people coming in everyday and making mtwapa a business town. My shop is situated in the inner most of mtwapa where we don't have such services. being the first to come up with this business i have the best opportunity and customers to do this business effectively.Its a good business because since i introduced this business i see my sales growing every day. My minimum monthly sales is ksh 15,000 but sometimes i get more.I use ksh 2,000 every month to pay for my brothr's school fees,ksh 5,000 goes to food for the family. I save ksh 8,000 or more every month. with ksh 8,000 i can effectively pay my loan. Am requesting this loan so that i can fulfill my long time desire of being an independent woman and that i can be an example to others.

Hello, am so happy that my loan application has been aproved. My thanks to thew whole zidisha team.First i want to utilse this loan by investing the whole amount to the business, I want to buy new stock that will attract my customers. This will give me a good chance to anable me to get income that will make me repay my loan even before the due date.
