About Me

My name is Paul Kiama Ngatia, am a resident of mtwapa, and a businessman in mtwapa too. I came to mtwapa in search of life. Am an adult aged 44years of age, married to my beautiful wife and blessed with three children. I live with my family here in mtwapa. all my children are schooling, all in a private school, the fist is in form three now, and will be in form four come next year. the second is in form one, will be in form two next year. ant the third did his KCPE examination this year, will be in form one next year. Which means i have a big responsibility as all are in private school which are expensive compared to the public schools. But i have specific reasons for all this determination, i need the best education to my children, because as we all know that education is the key to success. My education background is high school level, After high school, i went to a village youth polytechnic where i did tailoring and design course and from there i associated myself in tailoring. I was first employed a private firm, where i was only designing and making the staff uniforms, that's where i got more experience. I decided to start my own tailoring shop. am now a happy tailor with orders from schools companies and even churches. This is a god business, and its been very successful to me. With the income i get from my business i pay for my children school fees and other family needs.

My Business

Am a tailor by profession, and this is my business, This business is in mtwapa town. I started this business so as to meet my family needs. After going round looking for employment i one discovered that being self employed was the best alternative in today's hard economy. The services i provide at my shop are like designing and sewing uniforms for schools, companies and also churches. I've now introduced another service, i train young teenagers especially those who cant get the opportunity to pasue with their education. This has become a very useful business and a helping tool to many especially the youth. This business has risks like, we sometimes experience late payments which becomes a big challenge somtimes, because when you are delayed in payment it means you cant buy materials at the right time. This business is profitable as well, in a month i get a minimum income of ksh 50,000. From this i pay the shop's rent ksh 10,000, ksh 10,000 to pay my assistant, ksh 12,000 goesc to my children school fees, ksh 5,000 goes to my family expenditures and ksh 2,000 is used to pay electricity bill. so i save ksh 11,000 per month. With this i can repay my zidisha loan.

Loan Proposal

Hello am so happy that my loan application has been granted. My warm thanks to the entire zidisha team for the hard work towards helping people with their businesses. With this loan i will buy material as i have many orders that need to be done so this is a golden chance for me in my business. With these new orders i will stand a good chance in making my customers happy as they will get what they require.
