My name is mwanaharusi nzaro chai.Am married and blessed with 2 children whom are is still in primary school. My husband works at pwani oil ltd in kikambala.I live at kikambala which is in kilifi county in mtwapa location.Am a business woman.I completed both primary and secodary education and did not go to college due to financial problems.I started a business after completing school the reason being that i want to be self employed and my mother was doing the same businees so i she introduced it was easy for me to catch up with it.I use my business earings to buy food staffs for my family and save a little for the business.
My business is cooking food known as maandazi or mahamri and chapati(prepared using wheat flour) in the morning and evening then sell to people. The demand is there because maandazi is a the dishes are of swashili culture and our community is a sawhili one and most people take their breakfast with mahamri or chapati and coffee in the evening thereby creating a read demand for the dishes and we also have visitors from up country who work at pwani oil they aslo they also like swahili dishes as they. Most people buy from me because i sell at fair prices and reasonable sizes. The risks involved are not that much though we have high competition.I sell around 1,200 shillings per day thus 36,000 shilligs per month. I spend around 450 shillings per day thus 13,500 shillings per month. buy a of wheat flour every week at 1,400 thus 5760 shillings per month.I remain with 16,740 shilings per month as profit.Once i get this loan am looking forward to adding more wheat flour.
Hello, am so happy that my loan application has been granted. this is a good chance to improve my business. Thank you zidisha staff for the hardwork and commitments and for this kind heart you have towards helping people with their businesses. As a business woman i want to see my customers satisfied and this is possible with in the business. So i will use this loan to increase my stock and in this way i would have increased my daily income.
