About Me

Am francisco Karisa Kiti a resident of Animo, in mtwapa. Am a family man and a businessman in mtwapa as well Born and raised in Kidutani, Chonyi area in Kilifi district. This is the most rural area in Kilifi district. I went to Tunzanani primary school for my primary education, in the year, 2001 and compeleted in 2009 when i finished my primary school.I did not have the chance of joining a secondary school mainly because of my family's poverty situation. After my primary level i went to visit my uncle who lives in Malindi. I was amazed when i fond hat many youth of my age were doing very well with their businesses. as a result i decided to start my own business too.I first started a grocery and this was in Malindi . i did well to a point i was providing for my family. Its at this time that i started saving as much as i could , until i had ksh 75,000, with this money i decided to buy a motorcycle which was to be used to transporting my good from the wholesale to my shop. At that time i was shifting with my uncle from Malindi to Mtwapa. so when i came to mtwapa i decided to start bodaboda business as well. so the bodaboda business started while i also had the shop too. This combination business has been a good alternative to me and my family. This is a profitable business and i make an income of ksh 25,000 per month after all expences. With this amount i buy food for my family, pay rent and also pay school fees for my son who is in class four in a private school.

My Business

I have a combination of a grocery shop and also am a bodaboda operator. Mtwapa town is a very busy town both during the day and at night. this is because this town is growing very fast bringing in so many people which has been a good advantage to businesses like bodaboda. My customers are mainly the people who are living within the town and also the neighboring villages.I manly do this business at night, this is because there are more customers at night and bodabodas are few. so if you work at night you are at a good advantage of doing more business than during the day. This business is profitable am saying this becauae in a month i get an income of ksh 25,000 after expences. With this amount i use ksh 2,000 paying my house rent, ksh 1,000 is used to pay for my scn's school fees, ksh 2,000 is used for my family's food.I laso send ksh 5,000 to my family at home so i save ksh 15,000 per month. this business has risks too for example when working at night you may run into robbers and that can even cost your life.

First i would like to thank the entire zidisha team for the good and hard work that you are doing in helping people in improving their businesses. With this loan i would like to improve my bodaboda business by doing a good service to my motorcylce so that i wolud be able to do my business effectively. This will advance my services and this will make me serve more customers.

Your loan is a long time overdue. It's time to make some payments if you want to be able to get another loan in the future. If you can't afford the full monthly payment, pay as much as you can. It at least shows you're trying.

You've only made one payment so far. It's time to start getting caught up on your loan.
