About Me

My name is Monica Ambasa, a resident of Mishomoroni and a businesswoman in Mishomoroni as well. Am a single mother of four children and i live with my children here in a rented house.Three of my children are in school the first being in secondary school. Am a high school lever having completed my secondary education. I did not gave a chance of going to any technical college mainly because of the financial status in my family. due to this i did not get a reasonal job. so i desided to venture into business.I started a salon which has now become a good business to me and helps with all my family needs.With the income i get from this business i buy food for my family, pay rent, pay school fees and other family needs.

My Business

My business is a salon which i operate in Mishomoroni area and this business has given me a good reason to be popular in this area beacuse of the good work and good relation to my customers. I have been in this business for the last five years and i came to understand how to deal with my customers and how to provide with what they want in my business. This business is good and profitable and i get an income of ksh 25,000 per month after all my expenses. The risks in this business include the fluctuation of prices in the items i use in my salon. With the income i gt from this business i use ksh, 5,000 for my family food, ksh 2,500 paying rent ksh 8,000 paying school fees. So i save ksh 9,500 per month. With this saving i can use to repay my zidisha loan.
