i am a married women with three children, the first born in seven and 17 yrs old, second is 15 yrs and is class 7 and the third one is class 2 and is 7 yrs old.am a business woman.i completed my primary and secondary education.i started my clothes selling business because there are alot of people in my area and clothes being a basic need people must wear.i also specilized more on female clothes because females tend to buy more fashionable clothes.i buy more staffs to make my business grow as my daily needs and for the children my husband works and does provide for that.

My Business

my business deals with buying and selling of clothes to different people.demand is there because clothes being a basic need peolpe have to buy and due to the fact that population is high at mtwapa and is one of fastest growing city in africa. i also concentrated more on female clothes because females tends to buy more fashionable clothes.most ppeople prefer my shop because i have the latest fashions that arise and i sell i different clothes its a shopping a go.the risks that are involved in the business are that sometimes people tend to spend less on clothes, you have to travel to different parts of the country to get all fashionable clothes and the shop might be robbed by thieves.i sell almost 1,800 sh per day and that sums up to 54,000 sh per month.i spend around 900sh per day thus comng to around 28,000 sh per month that it bringing new clothes and rent for the shop thus remains 26,000 sh per month.i intend to make the shop big once i receive the loan.

    Dear Lenders,

I was in contact with the person who posted Ms. Mrima'a application last week, and he told me her child has been admitted to the hospital. He is planning to help her reschedule once she is able.

Ms. Mrima, all of us from the Zidisha community wish you and your child the best for a full recovery.

    Thank you,
    Bayle, Zidisha Team

    Dear Lenders,

Today I spoke with the person who helped Ms. Mrima post her application, and who is also one of our VMs. He was able to speak with Ms. Mrima last week, and verified that she is ok. He is working with her to reschedule and/or make a payment, and I will keep you updated if anything changes.

    Dear Lenders,

I wanted to take a moment to update you about our attempts to contact Ms. Mrima. Her community leader, a local pastor, has been working with me over the past few weeks to reach her. Neither of us has been able to do so thus far. I have also been trying to reach her other contacts as well. We are continuing to work toward reaching Ms. Mrima, and I will update you once we hear from her.

    Thank you!

    Dear Lenders,

I have been following up with Ms. Mrima's case this week, and wanted to update you on my efforts. I tried calling Ms. Mrima earlier this week, but was unable to reach her. Instead, I spoke with her community leader, who is a local pastor. He is planning on speaking with her this week and will update me on her situation then. I will keep attempting to reach her as well, and let you know once I am able to.

    Best,
    Bayle, Zidisha Intern
