About Me

i am the first born in our family. and i was born in mombasa hospital and grown up in mtwapa. ii went to school in bahari secondary at my 'o' level and i am an a computer literate.we are living in mtwapa with my mother. I started my business in order to help my mother as my d father is dead and my mother cant meet the family needs effectively. I had a hard time doing the business while doing my studies but by God's grace i managed and finished my education as well. I have a charcoal and firewood business, i started this business with the help of my friend we were in school together. She was from a place called Bamba, this is where the best charcoal come from.She introduced to one of the dealers sometime when i had gone to visit her diring one of our holidays. I did well and used to do all the work during holidays and when going to school my mother helped me. Its a good business because it really has helped me and my mother. out of this business i paid all my school fees and also provided food and other family needs. i now make ksh 20,000 per month after all expenses. Out of this i pay our house rent and buy food and save the remaining amount.

My Business

My business is selling charcoal and fire wood. I do this business in mtwapa town. i;ve been doing this business since i was in secondary school. I mainly get my goods in the rural areas. I normaly buy from the dealers, those who process the charcoal and cut firewood.On reaching mtwapa with the goods i sell both on wholesale and retail prices.My customers are mainly the regular consumers and also traders. It's a good business because i make an income of ksh 20,000 per month after all expences. in this business there are risks like when it rains the roads to the place where i get my goods are un passable making it hard to go bring more goods so at this time you loose your earnings. I work hard to help my mother because there no body to take care of my family.

Loan Proposal

Hello zidisha, am so much for approving my loan application . As a businesslady i want to add more charcoal to my charcoal business so that i can have more potential to my customers.So with this loan i will add 30 bags of chracoal @ ksh 15,000 and then add firewood at ksh 10,000, and then i will use ksh 10,000 for transportation.
