About Me

Am a
forty two old mother. A mother of six children and living with my husband here in mikanjuni mtwapa town. Born in Kaloleni village in Kilifi county. Am a business woman here in mtwapa town, and happy doing my business here. My husband is old and jobless so i have responsibility of taking care of my family. I started with a small business of selling omena, it started well and i was doing fine. but eventually i stopped because of the transport costs, transporting the omena from Kisumu to Mtwapa. so i started a green grocer here in mtwapa and its now doing fine. I get my commodities from Kongowea Market in Mobasa. I sell all types of vagetables and fruits. My green grocer is along the chief's office to golden key road. its in a good site.I can say it's a good business because i get a monthly income of ksh 20,000 per month. I use ksh 1,000 to pay rent on my grocer, ksh 2,000 is used pay my house rent, ksh 5,000 for my family food, and ksh 2,000 is for my chidren's school fees. I save ksh 10,000 in a month.

My Business

My business is a green grocer. My business is situated not very far from my home. I've been doing this business since 1999. It's been a wonderful business because its been proving for me and my family needs. I sell vegetables like sukumawiki, cabbage, carrots, and all types of vegetables. Fruits are like mangoes, oranges, ovacadoes and all types of fruits. My business is situated in a good and better business site. my business is doing fine. i earn a monthly income of ksh 20,000 a month. I get risks in my business like when there is drought farm products are low. this is because farms mostly use water, that is to say farmers depend much on the rain. With the monthly earnigs i use ksh1,000 to pay for my business's rent, ksh 2,000 i use to pay my house rent, ksh 2,000 is used to pay for my children's school fees. ksh 5,000 goes on my family food. i save ksh 10,000 per month which can be used to pay my zidisha loan. Am requesting this loan in order to expand my business and meet my family needs. and that's why am requesting this loan.

Loan Proposal

Hello zidisha, i would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire zidisha team for this wonderful job you are doing in helping people with their businesses, am actually moved by your devortion especially in my loan application. First i will make sure that i reach my objectives by implying this loan only in the business so that i get the benefit that zidisha intended to do. With this loan i will increase my grren grocer stock so that i conquer my customers and this will help improve the business.
