My name is Thresia Mwalolo Chinango.Am a single mother of two children a boy and a girl. Am a resident of mtwapa and a businesswoman in mtwapa as well.I live with my children in a rented house.Am a businesswoman doing a fish business here in mtwapa i started this business so as to meet my family needs. as i said earlier am a single mother so i have all responsibilities of my family care, saying this i mean i had to look for a better source of income. i tried a few jobs but due to low payment salaries i could not manage with my family needs. i had to start my business.so i tried the fish business, i first started this at my place as i couldn't afford tom rent a business place as i was starting with a little capital. This business did well and i added more stock hence the profit increased.I get my fish form the fish shops found here or sometimes i get them from the fishermen. This business is profitable as it does not require much expense In a month i get an income of ksh 20,000. With this i buy food for my family, pay school fees, pay rent and save the remaining amount.

My Business

Am a businesswoman doing this business in mtwapa my business is fish business, i buy fish, fry them and sell them to my ready customers. This is a good business as i always have my customers. With this business i meet all my family needs including educating my children.My customers prefer my sevices as am a reasonable businesswoman who cares for my customers. I have. a business friendly language and sometime provide free delivery to my customers. In this business i have risks, like sometimes fish are hard to find bringing the price to higher level, in such times you either choose a low profit or loose customers due to high prices.Tjis is a good business though, i make a monthly income of ksh 20,000 after my expenses. With my income i use ksh 2,000 paying rent, ksh 5,000 for food for my family ksh 5,000 paying school fees. i save ksh 8,000 per month.My main goal is to see my children completing their education. and to fulfill this i must have a stable source of income, my business.And this is why i want zidisha to help me in this.
