My name is Julie Joyce Owino, I stay in an estate called Milimani, Nakuru town Kenya. It is about 500 meters from Kenya Medical Training College Nakuru branch. I live here with my family, my husband, my son, my sister and her family and my brother and his family. I work in a law firm in Town I work as a clerk and do business as well. Milimani estate is secure and peaceful though expensive but its security makes us believe in doing business around the place. I currently pay around kshs.5500 for my rent and the rest is for the up keep. Currently am running a movie / Play Station shop within the Estate. This movie/PS shop business is picking up and the stock I hold right now is not enough to allow me to compete with other competitors .I would like to upgrade my stock .If I am able to raise enough money to increase my stock then my business will increase and so is my life will be stable
I operate a movie/play station business situated in Milimani Nakuru Kenya. This business offers both goods and services that is, I sell the movies in CD form, or flash disks, my customers also get to play their favorite games on the play station. I would like to increase my stock so that I can be able to expand my clientelle base. I have these regular customers and due to my reasonable price of my goods and my good customer service I have seen an increment in new customers as opposed to other competitors whose prices are bit on the higher side .The only place that these competitors beat me is in their capacity to stock. I can hold any stock because of financial constraints. Currently am having a stock of ksh.20000.This together with monthly expenses of about ksh.10000 I cannot see myself having extra stock to counter other competitors. The greatest risk in this city is that of political risk as this will make the potential customers stay away in their homes. With cash am generating from this business I will be able to pay my loan to Zidisha
