About Me

I noticed that multiplication was at the base of my failure in mathematics. So I decided to confront multiplication with all means available to me. I started a research in 1997, into the multiplication table, I was the teaching some children and from my experience if they would better and enjoy their schooling, they should have an edge over the multiplication tables, the research started yielding results, I started teaching a few children how to do the multiplication tables by just adding and subtracting numbers, On the 27th of July, the school in which I teach, is hosting a summer vacation school. I am introducing my method of doing the multiplication tables in a championship contest to be known as the multiplication genius championship. I will over that period of time have pictures and videos enough to share with you the joy it bring the children and parents when they see their children handle the multiplication tables as the real genii. thank you

My Business

I teach as a part time teacher in Creative art and Basic Design and Technology, in a school called Alpha Beta Education Centre. My research into the multiplication tables has given the understanding and knowledge every school going child should have. it is not like the rote learning that is done in the classrooms. I see this knowledge to be so vital to every school child, so I plan having it online, where I will teach the basics, then build it up to the intermediate, then a progression to the advanced level. If a child is able to master the multiplication tables, they always go to school with confidence, even on days that they are so sick or ill, they would want to go to school, on the other hand, that is the privilege to stay distance away from school. My part time teaching earns my close to 180 USD a month, I teach table tennis at home and at the school, but that is not as concrete as the part time teaching in the school. I want to concentrate fully on the multiplication table, when is to take off on the 27th of July this year. I learned how to design web sites and will start making my web pages for the site. I believe by September 2015, I would have pictures and enough videos to complete the web site, and I will do a regional launch of the multiplication genius concept of doing multiplication, after the summer vacation school in Alpha Beta school, With the videos and pictures many schools can see and understand my way of handling the multiplication tables. Presently, I am building the blocks for the teaching of the multiplication, I will hire four more people, who I will brief so that they take the idea to other schools, I do not plan having in the form of an inter-school competition, which will scare some schools away, I will have it at a child and parents base, which mostly would not need the consent of the school. My major concern now, is a cesspit tank I am constructing in my house, It is really a border to me, I started and had to abandoned it shortly to pursue the course in web design, and some software I had to purchase all. I will make the money though, the recent rains are ruining everything in its way, So I need some kind of assistance to enable me complete the cesspit tank, while I with the meager income I make put the multiplication genius on the global market. The sight and condition of the hole is not giving the peace of mind I need at the moment. That is where I need the assistance as at now, when I finish with that then I can look at working on the multiplication genius with confidence. thank you I need 300 USD to complete the project. and I can complete repayment in 20 months, that is about 100 USD in six to seven months. I want to first take care of this cesspit tank in the house, then I can focus on the multiplication. thank you.

Loan Proposal

I cannot drop the web site designing to finish the manhole, So what I need now is the assistance to enable me finish constructing the man then when I finish paying off the loan then I will come back to look at that which will bring in profit. Thank you

My repayment schedule before was on the 2nd July, and my pay was a day after, that made it difficult for me to meet the target. now after receiving my pay, I can now confidently review the repayment changes I made on the 2nd of July, back to a better amount than when I was without the paid. If my repayment date had fallen on Monday, I could have paid without having to change the amount due, Now that I have received my salary, I can now put my repayment to a level that would also help my lender to be able to fund some more borrowers. Thanks to the Zidisha team and family and thanks to my lenders too.

In this next picture are the blocks I have so far moulded arranged on the side of the house, and this time round my doberman felt he should also be in the picture too, the next two days we began the summer vacation school like I told you about. It was really time consuming, hopefully, I will be moulding the next batch of blocks this coming saturday, I have some friends who may come to assist me.
Thank you all, my lender and the zidisha team. May your labour never be in vain, you have done and achieved a great feat.

    Thanks once again.

That was the first day, working on the moulding of the blocks, this next picture is two days after the first moulding, I always keep in mind I am no longer young so I have taken my time no to over work my old man frame. Far back behind me were the blocks I moulded two days before. You can also see my day coming to me for a tap on the head, I thought she should rather give me the pat on the back for a good days work.

I get paid on week days, so my schedule on a sunday makes it difficult for me to assess my pay if it is send to the bank on a friday and has to wait to be processed on a monday, like it has just happened. I will be able to assess my pay on monday morning, about 10 a.m. or there about, which is on the 3rd of Aug. , and the due date for repayment is 2nd Aug. Since I will be assessing my pay on monday 3rd Aug, I will maintain the sunday day for repayment, but will bring it to a week day in the subsequent week and also increase the amount to 30 cedis, which will be okay with me. I was able to purchase 8 bags of cement, and did the moulding of the blocks all by myself. I dd not have enough money left to hire labourers. What is more, they are quality blocks and I am glad I moulded it all by myself. I could have purchased them, but they would not have been of good quality as the ones I moulded. That was the reason why I decided to mould them. We have just started the summer vacation school I talked about, Its first week was time demanding, which made it a bit difficult for me to update you on the progress on the construction of the cesspit tank. On the whole, I can say things have been fine, I had technical challenges with the downloading of the pictures, so I will go back to the dashboard to see if I can continue with that. Thank you all in the Zidisha team for your good work.
    Mr. Lawrence Opoku.

I once again want to thank my lenders, and I want them to know that I have received the the initial loan, and I intend buying 8 bags of cement to start the moulding of the blocks for the construction right away. then I will hire more hands to dig to complete the final depth of the hole. this loan has enable me to take earlier than I could, and this was possible because you all showed your concern. and I sincerely want to thank you, It is raining this very morning as I am writing to you, but I am not much disturbed like I use to. It is all because I am not alone now, my bankers did not even bothered when I went to them, so why should I not be very grateful to all of you, Mr Saumet, Paul ,Nancy and David, I am now in a position to do now what I would have to wait to do in about 3 months from now, and I am very grateful to you all.

    Thank you once again

I sincerely don't know how to express my gratefulness to you, Nancy , David and Paul Graham, I sincerely don't know how? You have repose confidence in me and I will not let you down. I will with this money purchase some cement to start moulding the blocks and when that is done I will hire some people to complete the digging by then I will be in a much better position to cast the concrete work, then the block work will go up and that I believe will check the eating away of the soil, My aim as at now is to build to check the erosion, I will communicate with all of you on the progress of the work. Thank you so much. You have done what a bank could not do for me, even though my pay passes through that bank. thank you once again, and the Lord's blessing be with you.

Now I know who has given me the initial 15% funding of my project. and I am really surprised to also know that you have help fund so many people, I didn't count though, it could be over the hundreds. Mr. Saumet, if I were before, to have met you in the streets of Accra, I wouldn't have known who you are. But today your name has stuck with me and many others because of the good works you and the others have been doing. And I know from this day forward if I should meet you in the streets of Accra I will not pass by for not knowing you, I will rather, walk forward to you and give you a big hug and a lengthy hand shake for who you really are, and also for your good work. Thank you, Mr. Saumet.
    Thank you.
