My
name is Sophia Moraa and am a resident of Nairobi county. Am single
with and I two daughters who are successful in school. After completing
my O level education and with no available jobs in the market l opted
for the self employment so as to earn a living. my friend introduced me
to selling of second hand clothes but after the many challenges due to
changes in taxation of imported clothes l opted to open a boutique shop
here in town and sell the readymade clothes. The business is good here
in town and do use the earnings to support my daughters and develop
myself economically. Am also an active member of my local church and
have participated in various social economical activities in the
community.

My Business

Selling
of clothes here in Nairobi is very viable due to the high population of
Nairobi city town. This is especially due to the high number of youths
in various estates and academic institutions refugees who are in town
and have created the demand for clothes buy the stock from wholesalers
in from the manufacturers and sell at a profit margin of 40%. This
enables me to make a gross profit of Ksh 30,000 per month. Though there
is lot of competition due to second hand clothes l always make sure that
my prices are very competitive and the clothes are of good quality. If
advanced with the loan l will be able to add more stock in my business
hence increasing the sales.

Loan Proposal

I will use the total amount to add stock to my current one .The stock I will add will be of new clothes of new and updated fashion since ladies in my area since its urban like clothes on current fashion . This will improve my business by more than 50% interest which will boost my business hence good repayments.
