I live in eldoret i am the third born in a family of eight. I am currently doing a diploma in journalism and communication at eldoret polytechnic. Am at my second year and the course take three years. i have always had the passion of doing business since i was a child. The main thing that influenced me to start a business is my background. I came from a humble and i have many siblings, my father is the only bread winner my mother is a house wife. I had to look for an alternative source of income so i decided to start a business where i sell second hand and new clothes. I use the earnings from the businesses to support myself and i partially contribute to my studies.
I have a business located at eldoret town. It is a stall where i do sell second hand and new men and women clothes. My main customers are the youth this is because i do understand there taste of fashion and am always up to date with what is trending in the fashion industry. The business is profitable because i do have quite a large number of customers who always shop there for clothes weekly. Most of them prefer my business because i always offer them what they want at a fair price as compared to my competitor and also do have very good sales and marketing techniques. the average monthly profits that i generate from the business is about KES 9000 this is after paying the stall rent and electricity bill.
Hi Lenders i intend to use this loan to add more stock in my business by buying cosmetics for women @ KES 4000 this will include lipstick, eye pencils nail vanish and few perfumes for a start. I also intended to start selling children clothes due to the demand by most of my customers as some of them are parents this will cost KES 7000. Increasing my stock will lead to an increase in profits margin and also I will be able to meet the demands of my customers. I need support from the lenders so that i can achieve my plans by raising the required amount of capital for my business expansion.
Thank you in advance.
