My name is Gabriel Mensah. A Ghanaian by birth and a business minded young energetic man. I come from Goaso, a village in the Asunafo north district in brong Ahafo. Every thing was good throughout my childhood. I had a chance to be enrolled in one of the best private schools in my area. My family was good until the unfortunate happened. My parents had a car accident. My beloved father died at the spot where as my mum had a severe injuries which resulted in her paralyzing condition presently. Because of this, my dream of becoming a medical Doctor just died off. Since there is a saying that when life gives you 100 reasons to cry, show life 101 reasons to be happy, I decided to take another direction to stop schooling .To me, nothing is impossible under this sky if determination and positive thinking exist.
I entered into this business about two years ago when a friend introduced me into it. He gave me the initial capital to start the business. I was asked to pay back at my own comfort which I did. Now my whole family depends on this business of mine. I needed to expand my business to fetch me more income to be able to shoulder this family responsibilities. I prayed almost every night to get a helping hand to help my business grow until a friend introduced me to zidisha.
I will use the money to buy more fishes, pork, beef and Chicken to sell to people in my community.I hope if I am able to restock my shop, those living in my village will not go to town for meat.
