About Me

I am a business lady and a born again Christian, I am 21 year of age by the name Elizabeth Muthoni Ngotho, I was born in Elementaita location Kiambogo division Nakuru county, my home area is well know because of high production of maize, beans and other dry grains in Nakuru county in large portion it is all over surrounded with dry grains and in some part banana plantation is practice. I was born being the fifth born in our family of eight children and brought up Christ hood foundation from our parent, When I was five years old we joined our nearby pre unit nursery school and after two years we was mature enough to graduated to class one and after eight years of my study I qualified for my Kenya Certificate of primary education (K.C .P.E) at Munanda primary school even if my family was financially stable I manage to reach form two and due to lack of fees I could not managed t continuous, due to my hard work my farther help me to start the kiosk at Tee trading center where till now I am still carrying out the business till now. I also get informed about the leading group from one of the business man about the Winners self help group which help the upcoming businessman an women, I joined the group and start saving and it have help me because I managed to rent I house for selling from the day to day open kiosk, I live in plot no 109 at Tee trading center where I operate by business, I am an active member and a devoted Christian for P.C.A church of Kenya at tee,

My Business

MY BUSSINESS IS A KIOSK

My business is located at Tee about one kilometer from Munanda trading center which is about three kilometer from Kiptangwanyi trading center which is well know in our area and 14 kilometer from Elemetaita as you travel to Nakuru from my area Nakuru which is our main and the largest town which is approximetry 37 kilometer from Tee. My business is named as Ngotho kiosk which I named against my dad because he made an effort in raising the fund to start the kiosk. My business is located at Tee trading center opposite matatu stage, the business is located in strategic position were there more customer because it is at the main stage. I started my business in the year 2009 after establishment of the primary school nearby where I also get more customer from the student, at that time they was no house to rent so a decided to build a small Kibanda which I used to sell fruits ,bananas, sugarcane and other small things which were affordable to the student, people started constructing houses and the same year I rented a house and eventually I opened a bigger kiosk. They is a lot of demand of the product such as fruit because of more passengers from Tee stage keep on increasing day by day also the stage is located in strategic position thus making it more popular,
In the stage there is few kiosk along these area thus I will able to catch more customer. The business will be profitable because the product I will get from our nearby town (Nakuru) and the mean of transport is good and I will sell fresh fruits at favorable cost. I wanted to purchase more cheap variety which will attract the student and sell to them at a lower price thus enabling them to meet their demand. The risk facing the business is lack of money were I want to start a shop coming two months to come.My business at plot no 109.
My typical monthly cost is about khs 9000, sale revenue is around ksh 2000 and profit is above 4000 but I am planning to earning more.
