About Me

I am 34 years of age, reached form four in education. I trained myself the building of stone houses (masonry) for 2 years. I am married with 2 girls.

My Business

After training, I join building work until I have enough experience of taking a contract by myself instead of being employed. Now I do take contracts and hire other experts for good job. Although, there are others in the field doing the same work I do get my contracts because of being honest and timely

Loan Proposal

Hi Lenders and Zidisha team, let me take this opportunity to thank you all for the effort you made to fulfil my dream of becaming mason with experience by buying almost every thing concerning bulding tools with last loan.To this loan ,i will use to buy one milking Goat which will cost K.E.S.20,000 and K.E.S.10,000 to construct a new home to the animal. This will help my family with milk and also to sell at high price to the nearby centre because most of the people in our area like the product. One litre of milk is K.E.S.300 and the animal can manage to produce four litres per day depending on how you will feed it.

Hi Mr Kanja, thanks for keeping us up to date and take care of how Mr. Nderitu is doing. Glad you figured out how to possibly sort out the situation with his loan.

Hello Christopher, how is your construction business doing. In the picture you are building a masonry wall - your workmanship is impressive. Masonry block is difficult to place and looks easier than it is. I noticed you have missed your first two payments, is there a problem for you? I like to help fund constructors like yourself, since the service you provide your community is so great.

    Best regards,

    Forest

Due to shortage of work, I have been unable to pay as required but now things is changing and i will be in a position of paying by next month. When it comes to general election people does not build houses because of fear and we who do that work of building get into trouble because no job. By next week things will be okay.

    Dear Lenders,
This is Analin Saturria McGregor, a member of Zidisha's Communications team. Today I heard from one of our Volunteer Mentors in Rongai about Christopher. Christopher has actually been sick for the past four months, but is undergoing treatment. Despite his illness, he remains determined to honor his loan repayment commitment within his means and as he recovers. We're glad to hear he is undergoing treatment and wish it provides much needed relief to Christopher and his family.

    Dear Lenders,
My name is Analin Saturria McGregor and I work with Zidisha as a Communications Associate. Today, one of our Community Organizers contacted Christopher to find out more about how he is doing. Christopher has been sick the past month, which has affected his ability to work. This is why he has been making partial payments - he's had to cover medical expenses, which has constrained his income. We wish Christopher a full and speedy recovery!
