About Me

My names are Margaret Wambui Macharia. Am a born again Christian and deeply rooted in the word of I was born in in Mugoiri Location, Kahuro division Murang’a County. I began schooling in Kiumu primary school and then proceeded to Mugoiri Girls High School where I completed my high school studies. After high school I left for Nairobi and later got married and was blessed with two children .After saving some money I managed to acquire a plot in Jada opposite Saika Estate along Kangundo Rd. Last year I started some construction on the said plot so that I can rent it out and get some money from it to for the upkeep of the family.

My Business

I have been employed by Nairobi Water company but the salary i get at the end of the month is not enough for the upkeep of my family so i keep some chicken and save some of the money for the construct project. I have a complete room on my plot which i rent out for 47 dollars(4000 kes) a month. I save all the money I get from the rent because i intended to complete my 8 rooms project on my plot at saika along kangundo road . if i save continuously for 10 months i will be able to complete another room which will give me extra 47dollars(4000kes) a month which will total to 94 dollars(8000 kes) plus my salary i will be able to save more and with the help of zidisha lenders my project will not only be only a dream but a dream come true. thus i will be able to cater for the upkeep of my boys and their education.

Loan Proposal

if i get a loan from zidisha i will be able to complete the construction of one of my rental houses i will use 24 dollars to buy three bags of cement, a lorry of sand at 210 dollars,two gallons of paint at 13 dollars, metallic door and window at 93 dollars and window panes at 8 dollars, i will also pay for the labor at 42 dollars all together i will use 390 dollars. this means i will have a deficit of 198 dollars which i will be able to top up from my salary and savings.
