It is after getting married where we started to invested money from the farm produce where we managed to buy a plot no 17 at Kiptanganyi trading center where we started to sell cereals as we continues with our farming . Our business of selling cereals continues to grow up to a point of buying a posh mill where I managed to buy a diesel posh mill, later I perchase more electrical posh mill where I join a brightlight self help group. My Business

MY BUSINESS IS BUYING SELLING AND OF CEREALS ALSO I OPERATE POSH MILLING

My business entails a cereals shop at Kiptangwanyi shopping center. I sell all sort of cereals that range from maize, beans, wheat and other dry grains.

My business is located at Kiptangwanyi trading center which is approximately thirty four kilometer (34km) from Nakuru-Elementaita road toward Munanda trading center, my business include buying and selling of cereals also I have a posh mill and farming as a small scale farming at Kiptangwanyi trading center. I started my business in year 2008. My business grows up to a level buying a posh mill both diesel and electrical also I have a bigger store for storing more cereals. My business is located in Kiptangwanyi trading center where I have a store, i am the manager of the business because I the one who own and managed the business. The business Is located at a strategic position because it is located on the busy stage of Kiptangwanyi, there is less competition for business offering the same product of buying and selling of cereals thus making the business profitable, also some of the business operating posh mill have purchased electric posh mill but my business continues to operate even if there is power shortage. My stock is worthy ksh 120000, but I continue to buy more cereals gradually, but during this holiday I am expecting to buy more because it is harvesting period, but the main challenge facing my business is lack of money as to fulfill my goal to expand by business to other area such as Game and Kongasis trading center where there is high demand for the product of cereals.
My short term goal is to crate employment among people whose work is to transport cereals from the farm to my store, my long term goal is to open another business within our locality especially at Game trading center where there is high demand of the product of cereals. My business is licensed under the county council of Nakuru municipality to make it legal. My typical monthly cost is khs 75000, sale revenue is around ksh 50000 and profit is above 25000 but I am planning to earning more from the business.
