About Me

My name is Titus Mbugua Mwangi. I am 22 years old. I am a second born in a family of Eight. I reside at Bahati centre which is about 18 km from Nakuru town. I am a secondary leaver and a businessman in Bahati centre. I started my business after completing my secondary education and my parents were unable to take me to the tertiary education. This made me to start a shoe business where i sell shoes at the Market. With the current earning from my business, i plough it back to the shoe business and also to cater for my basic needs such as shelter and food.

My Business

Shoe business is my daily activity where i operate in mobile markets at different parts of the location and come back at my home every day after the work. Most of my customers prefer my business because of the services i offer to them. I do make sure that the shoe am selling to them are presentable by making sure that after buying them ad before bring them to the market i wash them dry them and polish them. this makes most of the clients to prefer coming and buying my shoes other than buying from other business men in the same business. After the customer buy the shoes, i also offer the after sale service of putting them in a paper bag and thanking them. The challenges that my business faces is the competition and lack of enough capital to stock it with different types of shoes. in a month am able to sale one bale of shoes which costs at Kshs. 16000 which i make a sale of Kshs. 30,000 which translate to a profit of Kshs. 14000 in a month. after deducting my expenses i am able to get a profit of Kshs. 7,000. This profit can be increased by adding more stock which i intends to do after been funded.
