About Me

My names is Joseph Njenga Ndugire and above thity year old in the year 1987. I live at Tangi-tano trading center in a village called Gachuma. I was born in Rale (milimani) at Nakuru county in a being the first born in our family. I manage to join one of the primary school by the name Milimani primary school till class eight in year 2000, later I join Molo Mishida secondary school till year 2004 after my education I was employed to various farm as a laborer and after I had collected some amount of money to buy the motorbike. I decided to have a family where by in year 2009 I married my wife by the name Mary Njoki in a weeding ceremony, after marriage we were blessed with our first born after three years by the name George Ndugire. I have worked as a Biashara and farming man on year 2006 I take a course of Mechanic in industria area Nakuru, in year 2010 I join a driving school at leopard driving school, in year 2011 I buy a motorcycle(Kingbird) at a price of 83000. I operate my business at Tangi-tano were I also bought a piece of land at Gachuma village, from that time I have been living at that place till now where I have been carrying my activities of Bodaboda with my entire family I, where I transport farm produce for the farmer to our nearby trading center such as Kiptangwanyi,Munada, Kiambogo trading center, the towns is developing at a high late because it is a town which produce high farm produce, I am also an active member of Gachuma Self Help Group were we have been supporting each other since last year, since that time and I am a devoted Christian of Catholic and participate actively in our nearby by church at Tangi-tano

My Business

My business is transporting goods by use of motorbike (Bobaboda)
My business includes transporting good by use of motorbike (Bodaboda) i.e carrying of tomatoes and green vegetable eg sukumawiki cabbages ,carrot and maize from the farm to the market, By conducting a market survey I decided to start the business of transporting good from the farm to the market after realize there is a ready market for farmer relies on motorbike to transport there good such as vegetable to the market. The businesses capture 70 percent of the market share, also the business is expected to continuous to grow due to the ready market through out the year because crop such as vegetable are harvested through out the year. The business is located in a strategic position because the mean of transport is available and the climate is favorable for the farmer to produce more farm produce. They is a lot of demand of the product such as such as maize, beans and vegetables in the market thus making my business to operate through out the year, and also so many people here rely on this variety this making it much demanding, also being the one managing the business I am the one getting all the benefit and profit.
The business will be profitable because the demand is very high of the farm produce in the market. The risk facing the business is poor road during the rainy season which hinders the transportation farm products. The goal of the business will be get profit, create employment as a long term goal. My business will be supported by insurance services for any compensation in case of any accident, my typical monthly cost is khs 50000, sale revenue is around ksh 20000 and profit is above 25000 but I am planning to earning more from the business.

I salute all zidisha organization for activation of my loan.I will use some of money to rent more land for cultivation where it will help in plough the land i will rent because the climate of this area is favorable for cultivation but the money was the problem, thus zidisha will make my dream came true, where i am planning by the end of year i will transport my farm produce to other main town where the price is higher than selling locally.
