About Me

I am single with 3 kids who are all in school. I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center about 44 km from Nakuru shopping center. I operate a grocery shop at the shopping centre. I live in plot number 2496.

My Business

I operate a grocery shop at the shopping centre. There is high demand for the commodities that I sell. The main challenges that the business encounter are drought and high cost of living.

Loan Proposal

Hi Lenders,
I want to use this second loan that I will get from Zidisha organization to expand more of my grocery. I was able to construct a more permanent building for my business with durable materials with the first loan that I got from Zidisha and now the business has picked on well. I would like to introduce cereals in my business. Combined with cereals I will be able to have a wide variety of products that I will provide for my customers.

Dear Jane, I hope your child is feeling better. I know there's nothing more difficult for a mother than to be worried for her child's health. Good luck to you.

    Dear lenders,

My name is Traci Yoshiyama and I am Zidisha's Client Relationship Manager in Kenya.

I recently spoke with Ms. Wangare and although her business is doing well, she is behind on payments due to an increase in school fees. One of her kids was in the middle of transferring schools, which is why she had to pay more than usual. She hopes to be able to make her payment soon. Ms. Wangare thanks you all for your patience and understanding.
