About Me

i am a kenyan citizen aged 46, married , educated, running a shop at Mburu Gichua shopping centre and also works as a part time teacher. i have been in business for the past 11 years and i have learnt some important business skills such as customer retention strategies. In this connection, my goals in business have been to please and satisfy my customers. One way of doing this is by ensuring that all the goods that my customers need are available. Thus I find Zidisha as an extra help in doing my business and Zidisha loans really help me to add stock so that I retain as many customers as possible. This way, i improve my business by ensuring that the combinations of the goods my customers need are available and in large supply.

My Business

my business is located at Mburu Gichua Shopping centre, i have been in the business for the past 10 years specialising in selling of fresh milk and milk products. i would like to expand my business for the same by buying a medium sized deep freezer. my work capital is currently seventy thousand shillings(ksh 70000). daily net profit is ksh 1000

Loan Proposal

hi lenders..my business is doing well. i intend to do some expansion work involving making my milk business a one stop refreshment business. my business expansion project will require sh 40000 to be used as follows :- the new items that i intend to trade in include eggs, cakes(birthday cakes, wedding cakes) and drinks eg sodas, youghurt. . the money would be spent as follows , the wood work in putting up new shelves and painting would cost approx shs 12000.the budget for eggs would be kshs 3000 ie at sh 270 per tray of 30 eggs. the selling price per tray is sh 360. wedding cake buying price range between ksh 250 - 450 and such would be sold at a profit of sh 200, in that case to introduce them i would have a budget of sh 5000. sodas that is 300 ml , 500ml (glass and plastic bottles) and 2 litres would take a budget of shs 10000, the profit are shs 10, sh 8 and sh 10 respectively for each category per bottle. youghuts would consume shs 7000 . the remaining shs 3000 may be for transport and any other expenses. i have already saved shs 7000 that i will use to buy a bicycle for transporting cakes from a bakery 4 km away.

Due to the already ongoing drought the amount obtained from most if our businesses is very small. I hope to increase the installment amount immediately the businesses start making reasonable profits from increased sales. Thanks in advance.

I have been in a position to raise my standards of living as well as of my family through the fund obtained from your loans. My business has improved greatly as I am now in a position to make three times the profit currently. My only worry is that my base credit limit has not been increasing even though I have been making the payments on time. I am sure if it increases I will be in a position to make more profits as well as engage in other activities that will help me earn income. Thank you very much.
