About Me

I live in Githurai 45 off the Nairobi-Thika superhighway. My business is located near Kassmatt supermarket. I live in plot number 43 at Githurai 45. I operate an electronic shop that deals with all sorts of electronic gadgets and spareparts at this town. I have a good number of customers that buy from my business premises. I get most of my supplies from Nairobi town at a relatively lower price than other retailers out of Nairobi.

My Business

My business entails an electronic shop at Githurai 45 estate. I do sell all electronic parts for electronic machines and also DVDs, VCDs, CDs. I started the business six years ago and it is well established at the estate. I have established a good rapport with my customers and most of them prefer to get these crucial services from my business. The main challenges that the business encounter are lack of enough finances to frequently expand the business, high cost of electricity and frequent fluctuation of transport fares from Nairobi.

Loan Proposal

Hi lenders,
I would like to use this loan that I will get from Zidisha organization to do the following. First, I would like to buy more stock for my business. This festive season is good for business and the market is good at this moment. So with more stock I will be able to make more returns. Secondly, with this loan I would like to shift my business to a more bigger room as the one I am operating in is small and thus I will be able to reduce congestion especially during the evenings when I have many customers.

    Dear lenders,
Ian reached out to us via email to let us know his business for two weeks. He had to spend some time out of town. Three days ago he wrote back to also let us know he is back in town and reopened his business. This is the reason behind his late payment this month. Ian has committed to remain in touch with us should he run into anything unexpected that might make payments difficult.

Thank you for your continued support!

    Our best regards,

    Analin Saturria McGregor
    Country Liaison Manager at Zidisha.
