About Me

I married mother of 3 sons and i daughter all mature and out of school. i do a small retail shop in Gituamba shopping centre in Thika in central Kenya 30 minutes drive from thika town.I have been doing this small business for many years as a source of income which has enabled me educate and bring up my four children's. with the income from this business i buy my daily needs like clothing foods and all basic thing here in the village. I also educate my grand children and i helping the community where i live by supporting orphans and homeless children's. With the experience of over forty years in small business i am able to restock my shop once i get some money and it has kept me moving for years and i was able to bring up a healthy family with the support of my late husband

My Business

I started my business in m early eighties where i started retailing small items to my neighbors from my house . My business is a small retail shop at Gituamba shopping centre where i deal with domestic goods,cereals and basic house hold items like plastic basins jugs cups, plates etc. i also retail farm products from this area which is a high agricultural area. i also sell milk and other beverages like fruit juice and sodas.My business is in a shoopping centre where its near a school a church and the administration centre this makes it easily accessible and with many years of operation many residents of my area know me personally.The business is able to make enough profit because of products are locally sourced and the cheap cost of operation.
