I was born in a small village in central Kenya. I went through primary school, High School and College. After college i struggled looking for a job. I took odd jobs and tried various small businesses until 2015 when i got employment at Kenya Power as a driver. With my modest salary, i realised savings were not enough so i used my savings to start home delivery business.
The joy of every parent is to give their children a better life that theirs. My five year daughter want to be a doctor and i will do my best to give her the best education i can afford
Home delivery service is a new concept in Kenya. The growth of middle class families and small businesses has increased the demand for products at the customers convenience. Many products come through the capital city Nairobi and in the past customers had to make the journey which is costly and challenging depending with distance.
I initially started with kitchen utensils but customers request various products and am obliged to offer. From mobile phones, Home appliances to shoes. The cost of delivery is typically one or two dollars [100 - 200 Kenya shillings]. The growth of motorbike riders who do the delivery means not only is it cheap but also offers employment to young kenyans
In Kenya, more people are seeking products delivered to there convenience at home, at work and various places. As a result, the products I sell, home products, need to be delivered by parcel companies. To make this possible i need more money.
