About Me
I am Mary Owino, a teacher by profession. My father passed on when I was 12 years, since then, I had to take over the duty of being the bread winner of a family of six. I did casual jobs after high school to help me support my younger siblings and my ailing mother. Hard work, focus and perseverance have been my drive in life.
My Business
The idea of having a business came to reality when I lost my 5 year old teaching job. Getting a well paying job was proving to be difficult and my last salary was quickly being depleted. That's when my business was established with Sh. 5000 as the starting capital. Queens home decor deals with making house hold items that brings aesthetic appeal to the house. I make wall decorations, flower decoration, mats and bags.
Loan Proposal
I intend to buy more raw materials for the business. I need more containers, paints, thread, plastic mats and glitters. This will help me in making more products thus expanding my business.
