About Me

My name is Edith, i was born at a village known as Kendubay in Homabay county in Kenya.I went to school through primary level to collage level,while i was going to school i was faced with several challenges and hardships,but let me just mention a few of them.There was always no food at home ,sometimes we were forced to drop out of school to go and find some food for ourselves.to make it worse the food was not always enough since we were many children in the house,there was always no school fees,we depended totally on our widowed mother who tried so hard to make the ends meet.I would like to use this a stepping stone to change my life style and mother's.i would like to use the available opportunity to change the situation at home and to reduce the level of poverty at home and in society in general.I started this business using the small small saving that i had.My business is stationed in a strategic area,since there are many people who live around that area.My first born would like to be a pilot,and the other one is still too young to decide.my unique hobby is playing netball,reading books,and dancing.

My Business

I sell both retail product and cosmetics product,the retail product include,sugar,flour,salt,bread,tissue paper,pampers,steel wires,soaps,belts,sweets,milk,and cosmetic includes the zoe products ,niece and lovely,Vaseline,miadi products and many others,They are useful and in demand because they are used in daily life,and because i live in urban area,there is demand due to the population.I chose this kind of business because i did feasibility study and found out that that area was suitable for that business,I sell in a range between 100-150USD,And the profit is between 150-200USD.I use the profit to pay for my child school fees,buying for them the basic needs like food,clothes,and other needs that they may need, i also use the profit to pay the rent.I also have plans of opening other businesses and employing other people to help run them.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to add supplies to add home product such as sugar,salt,rice,beauty products,bread,cooking oil,flour,chewing gums,milk,and cereals,which range between 2us dollars and 5us dollars.this will benefit me in expanding the business and adding supplies to my shop because i have been running out of same products.it will benefit me and my family because i depend in this shop to curter for my kids.The area that live in is an urban area hence there is hire demand of home supplies in return i expect my profit increase by 30% daily
