About Me

I was born in Eastern Kenya a place called Meru in 1983. I was born to 5 siblings. I have a sister and four brothers. I am the last born of the family. While growing up, I was doted on by both my siblings and my parents so growing up was not difficult. I am now a lady aged 31. I am a mother of three and a wife.
Growing up i have always wanted to be a rich lady but its almost impossible when you have to juggle between the job, being a wife and a mother. All the same one has to try because a lady got to have nice things and money. My job as a teacher cannot give me the kind of money that i want and it is for this reason that I have been trying to see what can work for me besides teaching. I have tried writing but my current job schedule cannot allow because at the end of the day I am always too tired to do anything. I have also tried salon business but this one requires constant monitoring. this is why I have settled on selling honey during my free time . You should see me hawking honey even when traveling to work. I ensure I sell honey everywhere I go.

My Business

I am a teacher by profession. However, to supplement my income I decided to start a business in honey. you see, i have tried other things but nothing seems to work. I have been studying the honey business for a while and noticed that people are seriously looking for pure unadulterated honey and it isn't easy and especially if you do not know the difference.
After my online writing business and salon failed to kick off, this new found venture is picking up very fast but my biggest challenge is expanding. I have been getting lots of orders but I am not able to meet all because of limited funds.
the returns I have been getting have enabled me assist my husband in paying for bills and also I have been able to buy especially household electronics and also reinvest.

Loan Proposal

I have a running honey business and I have been trying to expand by buying in bulk for higher returns. The money will enable me take bulkier amounts of honey than I am currently.

Income Source

Honey will always sell regardless of the the time. I have never had an issue selling honey because those that are keen to purely organic stuff and are afraid to look for what is available in the market will always look for "mama asali" as I am popularly known. I have to agree that with COVID 19, things might be difficult for most but my honey customers are more of those looking for healthier stuff than just filling their stomachs. Honey is a healthier substitute to sugar, it is also used to whip healthy concortions to treat various ailments, so, the hard economic times have not affected my business as such. I will continue making sales and be able to repay the loan as agreed.
