About Me

My names are Alex okwiri am twenty-six year s old and a third born from a family of three. I was born in Butere mumias but together with my family relocated to Nakuru three years ago. It was cultural shock in the first place being on a different environment permanently but i recovered after I got used to it. I got a pat-time job at Maimas insurance brokerage firm based in Nakuru town. I later ventured into a stationary supply business which I spend my better part of the day operating. Being an avid marketer, I was able to get client with ease, which set my ball rolling. After I graduated from Rift valley institute of technology with a diploma in marketing management, it was difficult to secure a well paying job than the stated above hence the urge to start this business. With my earning from the business I usually re-invest it in form of buying more stocks.

My Business

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank zidisha team for lending funds to entrepreneurs hence enabling them to finance their business activity; on the same note , I ‘d like to humbly request for funds to finance my stationary supply business that is located in Nakuru town. In my venture, I supply the following products; printing papers, bidding materials, files, exercise books, pens, pencils e.t.c. The clients includes; colleges, school, campuses and other stationary shops. The demand for the products has been on significant raise since the business inception eight months ago. I had set a target growth of new client by three per month a move that I have been able due my aggressive marketing courtesy of my marketing professional. Unlike my competitors who stock and wait for client, I deliver the product ordered personally or my employee and create awareness on my business existence. The only risk I face is stock-out beyond regularly received orders. It is indeed a profitable business the fact that I have proved during the time that I have operating. The typical cost ,sales and profit are as under; 13000,35000 and 22000 respectively.
