About Me

thank you lenders for letting me join your group. i left campus two years ago and since then i have not landed on a permanent job. so i decided to be doing information technology jobs at home since i realized most people who own businesses or are doing start-ups do not have websites or rarely use social sites and rely on the traditional branding methods or front office to market their products. I approached a few clients who embraced my idea. Since I required a lot of research to make quality websites, I purchased a modem to allow me access internet and work efficiently and effectively from home.

My Business

My source of income is mostly comes from graphic designing, developing websites, printing and advising my clients on how to use social sites eg Facebook to market their businesses. There is a very high demand for such services in the town where i reside as uptake of information technology platform is at the all time high. the funds will help me acquire a laptop that will allow me to enhance versatility other than borrowing from friends or hiring, Many clients prefer my doing business with me because I get them undivided attention and am able attend to their specific needs. I earn twenty five thousand kenya shillings gross monthly, pay unlimited internet 3,000/=, 6,000/= travel expenses, 2,000/= for electricity and about 2,000/= for making phone calls. I earn a net pay of 12,000/=

Loan Proposal

I’ll use part of the money to purchase a brand new printer, which will strengthen my work force and at the same time it will ensure that the quality of work that I do are of high standards. Adding this printer with the other two printers which I have will guarantee that most of my art works and designs are delivered on time. The rest of the money I’ll use to purchase some office accessories such as printing papers, ink, etc. I’ll also use part of the money to repair the other two printers.

i would like to first apologize for being late with my monthly payment. Am OK , and my business is done well. two months ago i relocated my business to heart of nakuru town, along Kenyatta avenue and most of my funds went toward paying the rent of this new location. i promise I'll begin honoring my monthly payment this month.

i like to take opportunity to thank all the lenders and the whole zidisha team for doing a good job. my business has been doing OK thanks to the printer which i acquired using my loan. i have also increased my client base this can also attributed to the loan which i used to acquire a new printer and repair the other two printers and this has resulted in finishing clients work on time. i intent to expand my business by acquiring a refurbish laptop and projector which will go along way in helping my business.

Good luck Joel! Your work sounds cool and 12.000/month sounds relatively little for it still? Do you have a website yourself? I would be very curious to see any of your work examples. How long did you study? Do you concentrate on visual design only or do you do codeing too? Best

I heavily rely on referrals from my current clients and friends to market my business and the work that we do. I haven’t cemented an online presence for my business, I have already designed a website for my business but it’s currently offline. When it comes to web design I do the coding and the visual design, my work examples hmmm? I have two personal web projects they currently online but they are still work in progress, there url are www. jambofive.com and www.digitalbcard.com

        Dear Walter,

Did you receive your fiunds back?
A few days ago I realized that the request for expiring Mr Momanyi's loan didn't go through, so I submitted it again. So, everything should be ok by now.

Please, if you are still experiencing any problem with this issue, let us know.

        Best regards,

        Roberta
        Zidisha team
