About Me

My names are Rosemary Wairimu Ndugire and a residence of Mbaruk Nakuru that is off Nakuru-Nairobi highway. I am the first born in our family of five members and my siblings have been employed in various places here in Nakuru. I graduated three years ago from Mt Kenya University here in Nakuru with a Diploma in business administration but according to the scarcity of the jobs in the market that is when i decided to open up a cosmetic and a salon after i also undertook the course. I have been a hair and beauty and acted as a hair stylist for some years even before i joined the University.I have the experience and that is why i ventured into the business.A simple trick tha i normally use is making sure that the client is interested in the product to apply before i even suggest they purchase it. The shampoo bowl is the easiest way to subconsciously prep my client for a sale.I make sure i comment on how much i love the smell of the shampoo am using.

My Business

I always let my client play, touch and smell the products by using a method i once learned online which is to put up scent receptors. This makes my clients to subconsciously be thinking about these products throughout the rest of their services. I believe that people don't buy products or services but they buy results and benefits. my job is to focus on advantages i offer and how are these advantages more powerful than my competitors. We believe in not just saying but doing it which i believe has more impact. Those of my customers that purchase their hair products from my salon, more than half of them purchase either styling products, shampoo or conditioner. And for those purchasing skincare products at my salon also purchase more than one item such as moisturizers and cleansers. On a good month am able to make Ksh20,000 as net profit which i use to support my family. I try my best and sell my products as well as my services so as to be beneficial to my salon.I will gladly appreciate your support so as to expand my business to a big one.
