About Me

My name is Flossie Muthoni and i am an entrepreneur. I am married and a mother to a 19 year old son who is in college 1st year.I live with my family in Nairobi and travel to the farm over the weekends. I was in employment for 16 years before i retired to venture into business. I started off with selling honey but the competition was tight due to bigger companies like ICIPE selling their products for cheaper prices. That is when i started the online business alongside farming. I have online businesses but mostly am a farmer. I have planted beans, maize and potatoes, and i intend to add animal farming. Given these funds, i will be able to enlarge my farming because i would also love to add on poultry. This business is on my own purchased land and i can do a lot of business given the opportunity. My credit record is clean with any institution, and i will be able to repay the loan with the current income that i am making from the farm produce. I have farmed on my 8acre land with the maize due for harvest in march. The beans, and potatoes are freshly planted and they will be due for sale in the next three months. Kenya is a very productive country especially in farming and any lender should feel comfortable loaning funds for such developments.

My Business

If granted the funds, i will be able to repay the money back through my current dairy products. In a short while i will be able to clear the loan because the larger the business, the more the profits. With poultry, i will be able to sell the eggs, and the chicken. The cows will also produce better in terms of milk and i will be able to repay your loan. I believe this is a life time opportunity that no one can waste. Please give me the chance and i will forever be grateful. I have a good credir record as earlier mentioned. Kenya is also great in farming and the weather is quite favourable for agriculture. This is why anyone should feel confident lending funds especially based on agricultural business. I have an 8 acre land which is owner occupier and i can do a lot given the chance. I can do assorted farming with availability of funds and this can repay the loan effectively.

Loan Proposal

I am a farmer who owns an 8 acre land. Currently am farming beans, maize, and potatoes. I also have a few chicken and cows. With these funds i intend to advance my farming. This amount allocated to me will buy chicken for the time being. With around Kshs 8000, i will purchase around 30 laying chicken. Kshs. 3000 will help in cultivating, and buying of seeds to plant on an extra 1 acre of land.I will plant on that extra acre so i will use some of the funds to buy the grains. Meanwhile i will use the current farm earnings to offset the loan before the new chicken can start laying the eggs. I am so grateful for this organization because it intends to help out the society. I see my business thriving threefold by the end of the year. Thanking you in advance.
