About Me

My name is Elizabeth Wanjiku a single lady and a mother of 4 children. I am from a family of nine. i completed my 'O' Level in the year 1986. i later got employed with a company named Mothers Choice for bakery job. after some time a later quited the bakery job and started an ECDE in Nakuru County. i later quited the teaching profession and started a business of selling second hand clothes. my first two children completed their K.C.S.E in the year 2012, one of them joined college at Doba in Kirinyaga, and the other one started a tailoring job at Nakuru. the next child is in FORM 4 while my last born is in class six. The money i get from my business i use it to support my children's education, for i have one children in college who completed their KCSE in the year 2012, one of them became dependant and other two children one in Form 4 and The other one in class six.

My Business

I am a trader in second hand clothes and obtain my clothes from the Nakuru market. In a month I purchase three bales of clothes at twenty thousand shillings. I sell a bale at approximately 10, 000. I use at least 2000 shillings in transport in a month. My total profit is 5000 shillings in a month. The business has been going well as I use the money to cater for my children's education and family expenses.. I have been in the business for almost 7 years . i sell on open air markets in Bahati on Wednesdays and Saturdays and on Sundays i sell at the Maili Kumi Market.

Loan Proposal

I sell a bale at approximately 15, 000, thus a profit of about 15,000 a month. I use at least 3000 shillings in transport in a month. My total profit is 12000 shillings in a month. The business has been going well as I use the money to cater for my family expenses and also the family food. I have been in the business for almost two years . i sell on open air markets in Bahati on Wednesdays and Saturdays and on Sundays i sell at the Maili Kumi Market. My plans is to see that i rent a small kiosk whereby i will also be selling at the kiosk and at the same time at open markets on market days.
