I am Cynthia Abeka. I was born on 26th August, 1975. I am a single parent with 3 children, they are all females. I am a staunch christian, and fellowship with the Apostolic Church - Ghana, Mega Assembly at Gravel Juction, Mallam, Accra. I am a member of the Progressive Association, near Asamoa Gyan mother's house, in Gbawe Mallam, Accra. I am an industries woman working hard to help my family and my community.
I was born and bread in a small town called Gomoa in the central region of Ghana.
About my hobbies, I like singing, cooking and sharing stories. I disklike cheating, tellig of lies and laziness. About my future aspirations, I hope to become a big restatuarant ower.
About my education, I completed Junior High School, because of financial difficulties, I could not further my education. But the good news is that, I can speak and write basic english. Because I couldn't further my education, I am doing everything possitive possible to make sure that my three girls get to at least university level.
I know that as long as God is alive, he will help me achieve my dreams.
At my early stage in life, I loved to help my mother prepare the family's food. Cooking is one of my hobbies. I love cooking.
Food is one of the basic needs of man. Because I couldn't further my education, I decided to learn the catering proper. By the grace of God, I have learn't how to prepare different types of dishes.
About 10 years ago, I left my small town, Gomoa, to the capital city of Ghana, Accra to look for greener pastures and persue my dreams, owning a big restaurant and furthering my children's education.
My dream is to run big restaurant in Accra. But currently, because of financial difficulties, for the past six (6) years, I am selling portridge and fried yams, at New Gwabe - Mallam, near Asamoa Gyan mother's house in Accra.
I believe in God and hard work. I am working hard every day in order to achieve my dream. Loan facitilies in Ghana, comes with high interest rate, I was really glad when I found Zidisha. I kow that gradually, as I build my credit worthiness, I would be able to access bigger funds in the near future and harness my dreams.
Food is a basic need. In my community, there are many school going age children, my goal is to give these children healthy and nutritious food. The demand of my food by these children keeps growing, I am therefore looking for a loan to enable me buy more food stuff. Thank you!
