Am wilson gichugu maina from nakuru county kiratina village.i hold a business in nakuru dealing with shoes mainly men shoes.i have a wife and 2 children who are all in school.i went through my primary and secondary education before engaging into this business.iget my shoes from gikomba market in nairobi and in limuru.i started this business since there werte few people who specialised in men shoes as most people concentrate on ladies shoes.i learnt about zidisha from a friend who has benefited from it and i appreciate for the help.i intend to purchase more shoes and sell in wholesale to other retailers
My business is located in nakuru town near bus stage, mainly kisii bus stage.i deal with men shoes mainly sport shoes,i get my shoes from gikomba market and others from limuru the bata company.i have been selling as retail but want to do both wholesale and retail.i startedthis business on noticing many people specialised in ladies shoes mostly from uganda.my customer prefer my shoes since they are of good quality and affordable as i get from the main source.men are good buyers and their shoes are expensive than the ladies shoes and hence the high return.
I am very grateful to have reached this point,I want to thank the zidisha team for the good work.I plan to bring stock to add to my business since i want to be selling stocks to my fellow retailers in wholesale price.I also plan to open a new place for my business which will be outside Nakuru town.I also intend to bring more stocks from our neighbouring country Uganda to add to my business so that i can attract more clients who prefer the shoes from Uganda which are not sport shoes.I will be going to outside markets every two days in a week to market my shoes. . . . . .
