About Me

My name is Zakayo Gishaga, a resident of Nakuru county. I am a hard working man basically focusing my energy in Agribusiness. I am am a people person with good communication skills. I beleive there are so many opportunities for everyone only if we all can take an extra naught to discover and exploit the resources available at our disposal.everyone is blessed with at least a talent in life and I do believe that if also we all focused as well on those talents, we are bound to make a difference in our lives. I am a person with keen attention to detail and implementation. I also like doing things my own way since i mostly don't have much faith in delegating duties but if need be i do it as an example to those i delegate to.I liken being hands on with things that i take serious.

My Business

I stay in Nakuru and this is where I run my few projects. I deal in sale of chicken and recently i started doing a little poultry farming since pricearmes at which i used to get chicken from frs has been on a steady rise hence drastically reducing the margins. currently i have 300 broilers that are about 3weeks old. when they mature am anticipating to sell them at about 300ksh each. and besides buying 100%from other farmers am intending to increase my capacity to 1000 broiler and above. In a month i make about 37,000kshs to 45,000kshs depending on the market. majorly i sell my chicken to both small and big hotels, schools hospitals, etc so when it is low season in the hotel industry or if schools have closed, my sales go down and vice/versa. I have one permanent employee who helps me at the farm. If you assist me with the loan, i will use it towards increasing my poultry since market prices are bound to go up with the coming season. The income from my business will assist me pay the loan without any problem and would most appreciate working with you in all my future projects. much thanks in advance.
