About Me

I am a young Kenyan married woman of 31 yrs of age with one child. I reside at Maili kumi Centre about 16 Kms from Nakuru town, along the Nakuru Nyahururu highways(Just opposite the CDF building). I have a diploma in sale and marketing and certificate in computer application. I used to be employed in a bookshop but recently my husband and I have kept a stationery and computer services business which is situated at Maili kumi. The reasons why i started this business is because there was a need be self employed since the earning that i was getting was very little to cater for a family and therefore thought of keeping my own business with the little amount that I and my husband had saves. The little amount that we get from the business is used to cater for the Family and add some stock for the business.

My Business

Eliwa computers is the name of my business and is located at maili kumi center on your way to Nyahururu from Nakuru. It deals with all computer services such as photocopying, typesetting scanning, internet and mailing. I also offer computer training though not very much established at this time due to lack of enough capital to buy more computers so as to handle more students.
At this time, my business is giving me a daily income of about Kshs.800 which gives a total monthly income of about Kshs. 21,000. I also rent the house at a monthly charge of Kshs. 4,000 and pay electricity bill of Kshs. 1,000. During the month I also buy stock such as printing papers and laminating pouches amounting to Ksh.10, 000 which monthly expenditure turns out to be about Kshs. 15,000 and hence gets a profit of Kshs. 5,000 per month.

I do take this opportunity to thank you very much for giving me this wonderful consideration. my customers asking for Bibles and christian books. I have already bought and sold a number of them and have some orders to bring more.Therefore I will increase the Bible and Christian Books stock when this loan is fully funded. . I have a vision of transforming my business into a bookshop. Once again thank you very much.
