My name is Julius Lukase Jaika and a resident of Station Area here at Railway Houses.l am the second born in our family of nine members and my siblings are in various colleges here in Nakuru.l graduated fourteen years ago from a local university here in Nakuru with a diploma in business administration.I was recently early retired from Railway industry. l decided to venture into business where l started a dairy goats project. The Goat Dairy is all about quality. I hand milk each of our does, and uphold high standards to ensure clean fresh quality milk. My Goats eat fresh, local organic greens, spend most of their day outside eating and always have access to fresh water. My high standards are why my Goats are so healthy and why my dairy products are so delicious.I and my wife work everyday to ensure that our goats have the best care so that our healthy goats produce quality milk and Goat Dairy Products.l am married and mostly l use my earnings to support my family and my siblings who are still in college.
I established this Goat Dairy Project as a business model to showcase and train local farmers with an interest in transitioning to sustainable income-generating production and marketing strategies for goat dairy products in Nakuru. By distributing our dairy products produced at our education/demonstration facility to local restaurants and markets, we’re working not only to reduce the carbon footprint associated with imports, but also toabundantgrace1963 support our local, less fortunate farmers with proper training to learn about quality goat dairy farming and production. The goal of this project is to expand the training for farmers and continue to operate a small and efficient agricultural education/demonstration “goat dairy” facility and produce high standard/quality products for the local market. On a good month I am able to make Ksh 18,000 as net profit.
