About Me

Iam a widow blessed with 3 daughters and 3 sons.1 daughter died leaving 2 kids under my care along with my other children.My husband passed away in 2008 due to post election violence that swept 5000 to death in kenya and 300,000 displaced to live in tents together with the daughter same year,one month after father.I went to school upto primary class seven,but though clever i did not continue because i was deceived into early marriage.It is now 4 years since i was made a widow and having sailed through difficulties i started agribusiness in order to bring up the then young kids.Iam now an experienced agricultural business woman producing and selling milk.

My Business

I have kept 2 dairy animals and 1 calf.1 cow I bought with the loan I got.One day I sell an average of 5 litters of milk when pastures are favourable.In a month I score ksh 8000 leaving out of which 5000 is the profit.If i get a loan through zidisha i will
buy one more dairy cow to increase my income.The business is paying well know wheras a calf is additional asset.

Loan Proposal

I get the loan I will buy four bags of beans to sell to customers. I HOPE TO GET AN ESTIMATE OF 10 % PROFIT AT EACH ROUND OF BUSINESS TRANSACTION.i WILL SAVE IN MY M-PESA ACCOUNT 5% EACH ROUND SO AS TO RAISE MONTHLY LOAN REPAYMENT INSTALMENT.5% OF THE REMAINING I WILL PAY SCHOOL FEES FOR MY DAUGHTER IN SECONDARY SCHOOL AND DAUGHTER IN MOLO POLYTECHNIC.THE BASIC SEED MONEY WILL CIRCULATE SO THAT THE END OF IT THE BUSINESS WILL BROADEN.
