About Me

I was born in a small town called Kofiasuah near Dormaa Ahenkro in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana. We were family of seven. Due to financial difficulties I could not have University education. I managed to complete Senior High School. I went into apprenticeship by learning carpentry. Dormaa Ahenkro is a very busy town whose natives are very hardworking. The major occupation here is poultry farming. They supply eggs to every part of the country. My children have always been promising me to study hard to climb the academic ladder so as to be good citizens to the larger society. I have the store for which happens to be my major business centre but I do the carpentry job alongside. I like playing football a lot.

My Business

In my shop you can obtain everything that is used in a building. Some of these items include lavatory equipment, underground pipes ceiling button and many others. There are many Government building projects and individual building projects in and arround the municipality hence there is always the demand for these items every now and then people are looking for plumbing materials as well as lavatory items to fix in their new homes and in old home where some of there items are dilapidated the come to buy new ones for replacement. I had learnt carpentry so I preferred going into business that involves building materials so that whenever I am engaged in any contract I could use the opportunity to market my items.

Loan Proposal

I want purchase lavatories at $35, underground water pipes at $40 , ceiling buttons at $30 roofing nails at $25 and luver blade $25. These items are not only going to maximize profit for me but will attract more customers. In effect I will be described as father of builging materials. When my shop is filled with all that customers need,it will compare me to limit the way I cost things in my shop for affordability. This is how it works. If one pound of roofing nails is $3 that is the cost price and the general market price is $4, I will cost my at $3.5. This will apply to all other items in the shop. In this way customers will also benefit from my shop and will also reduce building cost for all to have their homes to live. I also hope and expect my profit to increase by 15%. Since I have decided not price my items the way they are sold in the general market in town.
