I am a single lady living with my younger sister and brother. We live in Ongata Rongai. I am a form four leaver, i sell building materials such as sand, building stones and ballast. I started the business to support my younger siblings in education after our parent passed on in 2005.I have been doing small business in ongata rongai for the last ten years. I have experienced running small enterprises and i have now moved to construction.with the previous loans from zidisha i have been able to expand my business and now i am able to take large projects.the loans have been of much help and i am planning on opening a small retail shop
My business involve buying materials in large quantity and selling them to people at their local disposal. my business is situated in a developing area making it preferable to others that are far from the construction site. The business is profitable because i deal with non-perishable goods and there is nothing to lose though sales delay. The business makes sales of ksh 50000 per month where ksh15000 is a profit.
i have a project in a construction site, i would like to use the money to buy building materials like sand, ballast, hardcore and stones. I ,m also planing to pay labor force to the people working on my site as i wait the foundation section to be over as the contract dictates so that i can get the first payment. The money will be used again in the second phase of the project to buy materials and labor force. the last two loans have been of great help to me because i have been able to pay school fees for my siblings and the best of it all i was able to purchase a small piece of land. I thank zidisha for making me the kind of person i,m today, may you live forever.
