After college, I started small scale business, before going back to college to study ICT, Am now using the skills learnt to do the business. the business pays my family bills . Am happy with the way things are going in this business.
I have faced many business challenges as I run the business but so far so good. Am ready to invest and supervise the business to greater heights.

My Business

I run a small cyber café in Nakuru town.I deal in providing internet services , printing , photocopying and type setting .my business has been operating for the last one years .there is need for more services to make the business more competitive against my competitors hence the need to seek loans services.
Nakuru town has seen the expansion of education situations , many require there students to do a lot of research work and printing .this makes my business have a very huge demands for my services.
The major risk is frequent black out, I intend to conquer this my buying a generator.
The business makes a monthly income of Ksh. 30,000 , I pay a bill of about Ksh. 15,000.so , my profits stands around Ksh. 15, 000 I intend to use the loan to invest into the business and also to help me repay the loan.

Loan Proposal

I have been operating my shop with two machines , in most times it has been very difficult as i have been overwhelmed by the customers demands. But with this loan i will be able to have an extra machine. A fast computer machine is curently what i ne
i will use the loan to add one machines in the shop , namely one fast computer CPU, since i have one unused TFT . which will approximately cost me KES. 7,500. The machine will add value in my shop since it will increase the number of customers . In the past i have been using two machines which sometime am unable to serve my customers well. thanks to the loan i will be able to serve them well.

the machine i will purchase , i will go for a faster one , so that i can accomplish the customers demands fast. With customers satisfaction i know i will get more customers and eventually i will expand my business.

    Dear Martin,

From what we hear in the news, I would think the unrest in Nairobi could affect all Kenyans. It sounds like a difficult time. I hope you can find a way to continue your current business but expand your services rather than start over. Would buying the generator you mentioned give you a leg up on your competitors if clients know their service will not be cut short by a blackout?

    Best wishes,
    Jan

    Hannah Wambui defaulted.
Are you going to visit her?

    She sounds like a scammer.

    Mr. Luganji,

How are you doing? How is your business?

I see that you have fallen behind in your repayments. You are now over a month in arrears ($21). Could you let us know when you will resume repayments?

    Thanks,
    Cris
