About Me

My name is James Mwangi Gachuha. I reside in Bahati near Bahati shopping centre which also serve as the headquarter for the Nakuru North new district. I am a married man with five children. The last one is still in school.

My Business

I have a shop at the centre where i sell a variety of items. The profit margin per item is low but at the end of the day, i sell many items and make a lot of profit. I make about ksh 25000 per month from the shop. I also do dairy farming which produce milk for the family while the extra is sold. I sell about 4 litres of milk per day at ksh 30 per litre. I also farm maize, beans, potatoes and other greens for the family. I sell the much that is not used by the family. I usually make about ksh 30000 per season of maize. Beans are usually planted twice per year and the price of beans fluctuate depending the season.

Loan Proposal

I intend to increase the stock of my shop so that i can have variety of items. also, i will be able to buy items in bulk which will be cost effective because they will reduce the number of times that one has to travel to buy the items. large ammounts are also cheaper in cost. the new year is also very promising since i intend to to stock the shop with a few stationeries and other items required by the students such as water bottles ( plastic) which the primary school students use to carry the water for drinking to school.
