About Me

I am a humble, visionary and hardworking young man. I pleasure in writing and drawing business plans both for commercial purposes and leisure. I dream and fantasize of being a prolific entrepreneur. Currently I am working at a personal shop where i stock stationery. I started the business to raise fees for the accounting course I am undertaking part-time. I live in a densely populated area which I view as an opportunity for growing entrepreneurial-wise. I would first like to enlarge the business by incorporating a cyber cafe before i explore other avenues. The loan from Zidisha will definitely aid me in doing that.

My Business

I own a small shop that retails in stationery. I also provide photocopying, printing, scanning and typesetting services. I counter my competitors by providing quality goods and providing quality services. this has earned me a large customer base as well as their loyalty. The pricing strategy acts as my competitive advantage. I price my goods slightly lower than my competitors. The major expenses include electricity & water, transport, telephone, mailing and postage, among other sundries. the business has been earning profit for over 6months now, at an increasing rate. It will definitely supply for the loan accordingly.

Loan Proposal

I intend to use the loan to increase the stock at my stationery shop. It is the beginning of the year and school enrollments are on the rise. This is an opportunity to increase profitability. By purchasing a larger stock, i will ensure that all my customers are satisfied. With the loan, i could also employ someone to assist me in running activities in the shop while I am at school in the evenings.

Hello Good People. As I had earlier informed you, I set up a new premise for selling electricals and electronics at a different location. I am rescheduling to suit my little returns as I am starting but will change it upwards as business picks. Regards.

Hello Lenders. This is with regards to my past repayments that i have
failed to pay for some months. I have been in a state of financial
crisis since May last year. My bookshop business crumbled down and i
dissolved by the end of 2014. The situation worsened and I was forced
to go back to my rural home. This explains why I have not been able to
respond to the emails as i have had no access to the internet.

The good news is that I am back on my feet. I have re-opened; but this time I own an electronic shop at the Eastleigh area, 2nd avenue in
nairobi. The business has started well and I am optimistic that I will
    be clearing the loan soon.
I really hope you understand and I am relly apologetic for all the
inconviniences caused. I would want to assure you all of my full
    cooperation henceforth.
    Regards

The main reason why I have decided to reschedule my loan repayment. Is because I have currently been in a tough financial crisis. However, You can be lest assured that the loan repayment will be effected accordingly, from now onwards. I have put in place new strategies; such as change of employee and location. This way I have positive prospects that things are going to work out for me in the right direction. I am really apologetic for missing to pay previously but this will now change, Lenders, do not be discouraged because as we all know, times get hard at times but they get better later. I am looking forward to the completion of my loan as per now rescheduled. Thank you and be blessed.

    Hello Paul,

Welcome to Zidisha. My name is Kirsten and I'm one of the volunteer translators. I noticed that you had translated your profile from English to French and it was well done, but the majority of Zidisha lenders speak English, so we want them to be able to see the English profile too. Since I didn't want to get rid of your work, I kept the French version, but put the English above it. I hope this isn't a problem.

Good luck in getting your loan funded!

    Kirsten Shute
