About Me

I was born in a family of six in solai constituency in Nakuru district.I was born the third in a family of six girls.I am a mother of three boys and i am maried.I did my primary education at Arutani primary in solai constituency.I joined Arutani secondary, which was of the same instution as Arutani primary.I did my certificate of secondary education and managed a mean grade of c-minus.Then i got married and got three kids.I started a shop business with my husband in the year 2000.In 2005,we decided to open a butchery business which we operated upto the year 2010.In the year 2010,we decided to open up a hotel business and i have been operating the hotel since then.I sell fast foods in the hotel and soft drinks.I usually use my profits to pay for my children's fees and cater for their needs.I also save some of the earnings in a family account.

My Business

I own a hotel business which have been operating since the year2010.I usually sell fast foods and soft drinks in the hotel. There is no stiff competition because there are no other hotels nearby.I can say that my customers prefer my hotel to others because i offer quality services. The hotel holds about twenty customers at ago.The business uses about 1500ksh and earns about 2500ksh a day. This is used in purchasing wheat flour and cooking oil and other stock for the business. This earns me a profit of about 1000ksh a day. This profit sums upto 30,000kshs a month.Just like any other business,my business also faces some risks. These are; there are times when the hotel is full of customers and there is less space for other customers. This is a challenge and i was hoping that i can expand the hotel to hold more customers.I also purchase my stock i retail and i was hoping to start purchasing my stock in wholesale terms which is more profitable compared to retail.

Loan Proposal

I intend to use the loan together with my savings to purchase stock,i.e 75kgs of wheat flour, which costs a total of 4500ksh and 10kgs of cooking fat which costs 1140kshs.This sums up to 5640kshs.This stock ussually lasts for about one week and thereafter i will purchase another stock with the profits i will get, after paying the first installment.
