About Me

My name is Laston Phiri am second born from the family of 5.The family has 2 girls and 3 boys.I went to Miseshi Basic School were i did Primary School and qualified for grade 8 at Kitwe Boys High School.I completed my high school at the same school and obtained the school certificate.When i completed i was motivated to venture into business by my mother who empowered me with capital and started a small business.The land and culture i live is full christian of values.I wish my children success as they pursue their careers in school.I love singing and watching football more especially English league and Bundasliga.

My Business

I ran poultry business and i rare chickens for both layers and broilers which i sale daily.These goods i sale to marketeers and the general public who sale on retail price, i supply some chickens in supermarket, hotels, restaurants and take away.The goods are very useful because they are consumable on a daily bases in homes, restaurants, hotels and take away,more especially the so called chicken and chips.The typical cost of this business is K 80,000 and i generate the profit of K 35,000.00.However the profits i make i use them for several such as helping the family, pay school for brothers and young sisters and pay house rental and home improvements.

Loan Proposal

I need at least a van to help in the distribution of chickens to my clients, i need K 50,000.00 to buy a very good second hand, this will help sale the chickens well as the farm is located in the out skirt of the trading and the client find it difficult to reach there and buy the chicken in good time for sale at the market place.This will benefit my client because they will be able to access the chicken at their door step.
