About Me

They say that there is never a good time to have children. When I was five months pregnant with my third child, my husband lost his job. I was a homemaker at the time, and he was the sole breadwinner. He spent the next few months looking for a job to no avail. I tried going around homes looking for a job to do, but no one would hire me because I was pregnant.

Within the next few months, we sold almost everything we had and moved to a one-roomed house. We struggled for the next few months, especially after my daughter was born. However, my cousin told me of freelancer.com, and I joined and started writing SEO articles for $1/500. I had to work very hard in order to get enough to survive each month, but I managed.

My Business

I am a freelance writer with Freelancer.com, iwriter.com, and Zecrys.com. I also do transcribing now and then. I use my money to run my home and to take care of my three children. I have a 4.5 star rating on Freelancer.com, and I am a premium writer on iwriter.com.

My dream is to one day have my own website and blog where I can share my opinions and get paid for them. I am also a poet who would like to one day get my poems published. I am a lyricist who has submitted my lyrics to various publishing companies in the USA. All of them have been accepted, but they always ask for money to publish them (up to $600 at Nashville's Paramount Song Records). I do not know how sincere these companies are, but having my lyrics published is my long-term dream.

Loan Proposal

The rains are hitting us hard!

Normally it starts raining in June. However, this time, the rains have started significantly earlier. The heavy rains usually cause blackouts in most parts of the city. Since I depend a lot on electricity, this is affecting my freelance writing work.

I am a freelance writer at iwriter.com. You can view my profile here: http://www.iwriter.com/view_stats.php?writer=57647

In the past few weeks, I have moved from depending on others to depending on my own hard work and skills. I do not want this to stop at all. Things seem brighter, and I know that I will be financially independent very soon.

I intend to use the money from this loan to purchase an Acer mini laptop. I want a small laptop because it has the ability to retain its charge for a much longer time. Since electricity blackouts are my main problem, this laptop will suit me perfectly.

I can manage to pay 1500 shillings (approximately 17 USD) every week. Whenever I can, I promise to increase this amount.

Being able to work throughout without having to worry about electricity blackouts will definitely increase my earnings. During this time, when blackouts are the order of the day, I can work for up to five hours on a mini laptop. When the electricity comes back (usually after it has stopped raining), I can charge the laptop again and continue working. This way, I will be working whenever and wherever I can.

We cannot control the weather, but it should not control us either. Help me so that I can guarantee a sustainable financial future for my family.

Thank you.
