About Me

Am a Kenyan male citizen aged 33 years born in Nairobi and brought up in the shanty estate of Kariobangi North where smoking weed and consuming alcohol was the order of the day. Luckily enough I got the privilege of acquiring my primary education at a primary school in the middle of Korogocho slums formerly known as Korogocho primary school but currently known as Daniel Comboni primary school.
I went through my secondary education in Eastleigh Boys High School in Nairobi after which I joined The Kenya Polytechnic University College to pursue a diploma course on computer graphic design and later undertook some accounting courses to be specific Kenya Accounting Technician Certificate and Certified Public Accountants up to section IV of part II.
Since then I have worked for several organizations such as Christian Children Fund currently known as Child’s Fund Kenya as a peer Youth Mobilizer, Compassion International working as a project Accountant for one of their Child’s Development Centre in Simenya, I am currently working for Dinetic Investments as a graphic designer and at the same time doing freelance graphic designs for companies such as Mega Pack Limited, Nobel Tyres Limited, Comply Limited, Kenya Water Agencies, Nakuru Water and sanitation company, Golden Palace Hotel, World vision Mogotio, Sokoro Sacco Society, Kapkoros Tea Factory and so on and so forth.

My Business

I started my graphic design business in late 2009 and the pick was so low till mid 2010 when I started designing a lot of stuffs such as T shirts, Polo Shirts, Banners, Fliers, Caps, Pens, Mugs, Stickers, vehicle branding, promotional materials, roll up banners, canvas printing, screen printing, embroidery for logos, logo creating, rubberstamps, plate making for lithography printing e.t.c
My customer base have grown since then from individuals to corporate as my older clients keeps on referring their friends, clients and relatives to me. I beat my competition in only two ways that is timely delivery and customer relation where communication is maintained continuously.
My profit is determined by the work orders I receive per month because my utilities bills and rent are constant. Sometimes the exchange rate of Us dollar also affects my business as most of my materials are imported thus my cost of production goes up therefore reducing my profits. Counter this I want to use this loan in purchasing my raw materials.
I use and manage a reasonable stock of raw materials. This will also mean that more profit will be realized as I will reduce my transportation costs I incur in the month. Technology is also a challenge and in order to beat competition you need to be up to the current technology as some machines become obsolete by time.

thank you lenders once again. as i had stated earlier, my health deteriorated and was hospitalized for forty two days. my business stagnated since i was the one operating it. i have not managed to open it as everything was geared to getting me back on my feet again. am recuperating well now as in the next three weeks i will be back in business. all my savings went to replacing business costs such as business premises rent, my house rent and settling medical bills. i am optimistic though that once back in business things will pick up slowly and operations will normalize. i thank you lenders for being patient with me and promise to never let you down.

I have been sick for a while(2weeks to be precise) hence I have not attended to my business and am a sole proprietor hence no sales made. I am therefore compromised to clear my monthly utility bills and other medical expenses I have to incur before I fully recover. I promise not to fail in my start of my repayment and avoid any further reschedule

Thank you lenders for giving me this opportunity to advance my business and make it competitive for the current market. I am pleased and very excited about this. I am not frightened by the size of the enormous task ahead of me but overjoyed by this enabling environment. May GOD bless you.
