About Me

My name is Naomi Safari,a resident of watamu in Timboni in Kenya,my main occupation is supplying building materials to watamu and its surroundings.This includes makuti and poles for construction. I started this business in the 1993 up to now because i wanted to help my family and raise cash for school fees,am married with 2 kids who are now in Dabaso and Chafisi Primary within Watamu.I studied up to class 3 and never proceeded further.I use the earnings to add more poles for my businessmen now that this is high season in Watamu.

My Business

My main occupation is supplying building materials to watamu and its surroundings.This includes makuti and poles for construction. i started this business in the 1993 up to now.Demand for poles and makuti in watamu is high now since the season is high because of tourists.Risks include low tourists turnout during low season.I make kshs 27,000 in gross profit,expenses of kshs kshs13,000.the balance kshs 14,000 is used

Loan Proposal

I supplying building materials to Watamu and its surroundings.This includes makuti and poles for construction.I will use the loan to buy 1500 pieces of makuti which will cost kshs 15,000.I will sale the same at kshs 25,000 making about kshs 10,000 just at a go.i will also purchase building poles worthy kshs 20,000 which i intend to sell locally.the balance shall be used for transport.
