My name Lilian Njoki Macharia I was born on 3rd may 1980 at miharati in nyandarua county. I joined kabati primary school for my basic education from standard one to eight. I later joined magumu girl’s high school for my high education where I sat for my final examination in 1997. Having done well in my exams I joined a college for business studies for a course in accounts for two years. After college I worked in various organizations for many years until when I decided to try my hand in business. Gilgil town being the biggest urban centre from home was best place to implement my idea. And so I opened a boutique using my savings from my previous employment. by the grace of God the business did well and still does well up to date I am married and blessed with two children both girls of whom together with my husband we are very proud of. I look forward to be a zidisha member.
My business is located at amani biashara centre in Gilgil town in central rift valley. It is specialized in the sale of all ladies and gents wear. Gilgil town is a very busy town with a lot of inhabitants most of whom are civil servants institution employees and farmers. I decided to start this kind of business after I realized there was great demand for clothes in my locale. Most people used to travel to the nearby town of Nakuru to purchase the same; this prompted me to capitalize on this demand. Most people prefer to buy from my shop because my products are cheaper and of high quality more than those of my competitors. I usually get my supplies from the apparel factories in the industrial city of Nairobi and also from direct importers. The challenges my business faces is luck of enough capital to stock more products to meet the ever growing demand. I am optimistic that with zidisha platform I will be able to grow and expand my business.
I take this earliest opportunity to thank the entire zidisha team for according me this great chance. this loan will help me to increase stock of both men and women clothes for sale to meet the demand for the same i will also stock children's wear and especially baby wears to serve my customers even better. this will give me better profit margin for my business sustainability. Thanks to all my lenders as you fill my bids. God bless
